180-Grit CBN Sharpening: IF CHOSEN Each skew chisel is carefully sharpened on a 180-grit CBN (Cubic Boron Nitride) wheel, giving you an ultra-smooth cutting edge that glides effortlessly across wood.
27-30° Degree Included Angle: The precisely crafted included angle offers the perfect balance between sharpness and stability, ensuring a clean, accurate cut with minimal effort.
Rounded Edges for Bead Rolling and Gliding: The chisel features rounded edges, ideal for rolling beads and creating smooth transitions in your turning projects. The rounded design allows the tool to glide seamlessly over tool rest, providing superior control and reducing the likelihood of catches.
If you choose MY GRIND, you'll receive skew just the way I use it, with ever so slightly curved edge and it will be ready to use straight from package.
If you choose the factory edge, then you'll recieve a tool NOT ready for use, with a general shape close to but not exactly like mine.
It's a good option if you prefer some of your shapes and profiles.
